Celebrating spring - Dairy Foods

I had a couple girlfriends over last week when the temperature in MN was in the high 70's. It was gorgeous outside sitting with friends; we had delicious food and sparkling wine. It doesn't get much beter than that.

On the menu:
Bruschetta and baguette
Gouda / goat brie / sour dough bread / multi-grain bread
Portobello burgers
Black bean burgers with spicy cucumber and red pepper relish
Roasted asparagus
Roasted rosemary red potatoes
Strawberries and raspberries (for dessert)
Sparkling wine

My friend Kristin brought me these gorgeous ranunculous.

Asparagus screams spring-time. I trimmed the stems, spread on a baking sheet with some olive oil, salt and pepper and roasted at 400 degrees for about 15 minutes.

What have you been doing to celebrate spring (comment on this post and share)!

Don't miss a gorgeous real wedding tomorow!!!
